What type of hair does MZM hair carry?
Mzm hair is the highest quality of unprocessed, human hair known as RAW hair. Raw hair is collected from a single donor. In order for hair to be considered Raw. No chemicals can be used in any steps. Raw hair is sun dried to avoid adding direct heat. There may also be Frizz but it's normal to have with Raw hair
How is MZM Sold?
Mzm is sold by the bundle, which weighs 3.5 ounces
How many ounces should I order?
3 Bundles will work for a full head installation up to 24", For 26" & up we recommend a minimum of 4 bundles
What Colors does MZM come in?
Mzm hair comes in different shades of natural blacks and natural browns. Ranging from 1b to a 4
Can I color my MZM hair?
Yes, Because it is 100% unprocessed human hair, It can be colored and / or bleached to any level desired. However, when coloring your hair we recommend consulting with a professional hair colorist so you won't damage or dry the hair out
Does MZM hair Shed?
Our wefts are absolutely the best and all cuticles are aligned going same direction to prevent tangling. However, any hair that has been sewn onto a weft is bound to experience some slight shedding. To avoid excess shedding, we recommend brushing the hair from ends up before washing and having your stylist to do two things when installing
1. Apply weft sealer at each end of the cut weft, this is where most shedding comes from
2. Sew around the weft from loosening and ensure a tight, secure and free weft
Can I swim with my MZM hair?
Yes, We recommend wetting your hair w/ water and lathering your hair w/ conditioner and braiding it in two braids prior to swimming. The chlorine and / or salt will make the hair dry and brittle, but soaking your hair in water and conditioner will minimize the amount of chlorine or sea salt that gets absorbed in your hair. Lastly, you should always wash your after swimming
How long will MZM last?
With proper care, your hair can last up to 3 years or more and can be used multiple times. The life expectancy of your hair is entirely up to how well you take care of it. Excessive heat, coloring and bleaching will minimize the healthiness of the hair and reduce the life of the hair
How often should I wash my hair?
For curly hair textures, we recommend condition at least 3x a week, For wavy & straight textures we suggest a conditioner, wash once a week or as needed
What products can I use in my hair?
We recommend using Organic hair products (as sold on our site) or any
Alcohol free products to prevent the hair from drying out, Use Alcohol
free serum for shine and to reduce Frizz as needed.
What to do before Installing?
Mzm hair comes pre-washed but we recommend always washing your hair extensions before installation. Do NOT scrub like its on your head go up in down rubbing gentle so the hair doesn't tangle, (Keep rubber band on), brush with shampoo brush and let it air dry.
When Installing MZM
when installing MZM hair use the over and out method, Although wefts are custom made, we still advise that you care for them the best you can, After your install, brush your hair out throughly to remove loose hair
